Pickleball in Prison provides a turnkey program to establish pickleball programs in prisons.
- Provides all the equipment needed to play pickleball including top of the line nets, paddles, balls and a spray paint striping machine to paint the lines on the courts.
- Provides certified instructors to conduct clinics and teach lessons.
- Trains inmates to serve as coaches using a curriculum devised by the Professional Pickleball Registry.
- Inmates who pass a written pickleball fundamentals exam and a skills assessment qualify for court shoes and pickleball shirts provided by PIP.
- The written test includes open ended questions about lessons learned from playing pickleball and performance improvement goals that inmates can apply when they're released from prison.
